At one time or another, we’ve all had something happen to us we’re we have thought we’d never recover from it. It usually sends us spiraling thinking that it is the worst possibly thing that could ever happen to us. But eventually, without even noticing, our lives went back to their normal routine and we probably haven’t even thought about it in months.. years..
That is until the next road bump comes along and the cycle repeats itself again.
I know when I think back to problems in my past where I was absolutely certain the end of the world was coming, I usually end up laughing. REALLY? Morgan.. I mean honestly, if you think about it just about everything is figureoutable. And nine times out of ten, it was usually so insignificant of an issue or it could have been easily solved had I really just evaluated what was happening instead of letting my emotions control me.
I’m hoping I’m not alone in that.
What I’ve learned from looking back on the “life ruining” parts of my past, is that if I had adjusted my attitude towards them, I could potentially of eliminated many problems much, much faster. I mean really, life is 10% what happens to us, and 90% how we react to it. We cannot change the things that happen, but we can control how we let them effect us.
We need to quit sulking over the inevitable that is life. Stop, take a deep breath and accept what is. Once you are calm and remind yourself it’s all figureoutable, you can make your game plan and overcome whatever has been thrown your way.
Lets CHOOSE not to let life win this round.
